TURBA_توربا

Turba, derived from the Latin term meaning “disorderly crowd,” is an artistic research collective established in 2020 in Tangier, initiated by Romane Piffaut. It brings together several choreographic artists, visual artists, musicians, and illustrators: Mehdi Dahkan, Soufiane Faouzi Mrani, Franck Sammartano, Ines Abergel, Florian Song Nguyen, Khalil Mounji, and Melen Cazenave.

The collective’s research revolves around the concept of a crowd.

Turba, qui vient du latin signifiant “foule en désordre”, est un collectif de recherche artistique créé en 2020 à Tanger, à l’initiative de Romane Piffaut. Il rassemble plusieurs artistes chorégraphiques, plasticiens, musiciens et dessinateurs : Mehdi Dahkan, Soufiane Faouzi Mrani, Franck Sammartano, Ines Abergel, Florian Song Nguyen, Khalil Mounji et Melen Cazenave.
