TURBA – توربا, meaning “crowd” in Latin and “land” in Arabic, the name reflects a dual attention to collective bodies and the territories they move through and inhabit.

In public spaces where individualism and separation often shape the way we move together, TURBA WALK proposes a choreographic experience based on trust, collective responsibility and physical interdependence.

Several plaster-masked performers, deprived of vision and partially deprived of hearing, move through the city guided by the public. The performance can only exist through sustained attention, care and mutual support.

Dans les espaces publics où l’individualisme et la séparation façonnent souvent notre façon de nous déplacer ensemble, TURBA WALK propose une expérience chorégraphique fondée sur la confiance, la responsabilité collective et l’interdépendance physique.

Plusieurs performeurs masqués de plâtre, privés de vision et partiellement de l’ouïe, se déplacent en ville guidés par le public. La performance ne peut exister que grâce à une attention soutenue, au soin et au soutien mutuel.
